Hello. John Wilker is my name. Since 2007, I have been an organizer for technical conferences as well as an event planner. It's an excellent method to connect developers and aid them in improving their programming abilities. Being a writer at Rogue Publishing is one more aspect of my professional life and my main passion.
I'm a co-founder of 360Conferences which is a company which offers conferences in the iOS, macOS, Android, and other development areas: 360iDev, 360MacDev, 360AnDev 360intersect, 360Stack, 360MIN and Chicago Roboto.
I'm also extremely proud to have been a part of the founding team for Uncubed an office space for coworking in Denver, Colorado, that assists startups and mature developer communities in managing their day-to day operations. In 2013, I assisted to establish the non-profit Denwhere which has since been instrumental to the organization of a number of amazing events in my town such as Ignite Denver, The Denver Bee, Denver NodeBotsDay, and Law Hackathon.
My development experience is a major source of inspiration as well as expertise to these projects. In the mid-2000s, worked as an Senior Developer at Red Omega Solutions, Inc. and Xylem CCI and served as an ColdFusion development consultant at SpireMedia. As well as overseeing web development projects for Argent Mortgage Company, Visionary Integration Professionals, Inc., I was involved in the development of IT staffing and time tracking software for Directfit.
To summarize I have a passion on building communities of enthusiasts and experts in the field of programming. This opens the doors to great new projects as well as breakthroughs and innovative technologies.
