I shall miss coming to both Alpine Health Club And Kina Health & Beauty. Having being a confirmed ‘gym abstainer for at least 15 years despite having joined a gym on number of times; I was understandably a little dubious when I first came to see you and discuss membership at the Club. I remember being very honest with both James and Donna and saying I would need your help to become and keep motivated - both promised me their support and encouragement. To my own amazement; I have come to truly enjoy going to the gym. I have really enjoyed my workouts and noticed my increased level of physical fitness and stress relief. My sleeping patterns have improved, together with my flexibility. Not only that, but I’ve fully relished my indulgent treats in the form of massages, facial’s and Caci at the Kina Centre. I’ve often wondered what the difference was… why I had suddenly started genuinely enjoying going to the gym? I’ve now come to the conclusion that there are a number of things that set your establishment apart from the others I had previously joined. One of the differences is the truly friendly, helpful, supportive, encouraging and fun environment that you’ve created – you are a great team and you share your enthusiasm with each of your clients and make them feel welcome. You are always on hand to offer advice and encouragement – in contrast to some gyms where once you’ve joined and paid your membership money they seem to loose interest in you! In turn I think this helps to create an overall environment that is friendly; an environment where people are there to workout; but also happy to take a moment to say ‘HI’. Better still, and apart from being a fun and welcoming environment; it’s also low key and down to earth with people of all fitness levels and body shapes – making it a pleasure to attend and removing any feelings of being daunted. So; a big thank you to each and every one of you! I only hope that I manage to find a gym in Australia that is as good as yours… if not I’ll be emailing you and asking you for some workout suggestions and encouragement! Having been a member for several years and always enjoyed the individual approach to all members, you offer friendly knowledgeable staff, excellant range of equipment and overall a thoroughly nice place to take regular exercise. I now come to Alpine only once or twice a month for treatments at Kina as I have since moved to Huntingdon. In my opinion, there is no one to match Kina or the gym in or around Huntingdon and so it is worthwhile travelling to you for Kina. I am only sorry that it is a little too far for regular gym use, I miss it! I have been a member of your club since it opened about 10 years ago, and I must congratulate you on the condition you have kept the club in, as it is as clean and fresh as the day you opened it. You get a very friendly welcome at reception and all your staff conducts themselves in a very professional manner, the exercise machines are modern and the changing rooms and showers are spotlessly clean. The reason I still exercise at my age is that I have been doing it for nearly 40 years; mainly in Health Clubs in Norfolk where I lived most of my working life, and quite honestly I feel as fit as I did as a young man with out any aches and pains and with good luck I intend to continue. I would recommend any person whatever age to take up regular exercise as it has given me a long, healthy and enjoyable life. In addition to attending your club I play golf twice a week at my Norfolk club where I have also been a member for about 40 years and I also have a large garden and greenhouse I look after.
