ALS.. THE APPLE LAPTOP SCREEN REPAIR SPECIALISTS

This is a SCAM company - do not engage with DAVID DUCK or this company. They collected my laptop last week and I have heard nothing since - they have my laptop, all my pictures and as my back up failed i have lost every thing - years of pictures and my GF's pictures. DO NOT USE this company it's a SCAM. please contact me with any information to track down this thief. I will pay a substantial reward for the return of my laptop or information leading to the arrest of this person and return of my data. Ben S.

May 25 2012 Called ALS after Apple stated my screen was bad and needed to be replaced. After the phone conversation I was told he is an expert in this area and have seen the symptoms I described a 100 times. After he replaced the screen, the problem was still there. He took my macbook to his workshop and told me he would call the next day. No call. I called the next day and was told he was busy and would call me back. No call. Finally got him on the phone. May 29 2012 He still was not sure what was wrong with it and told me he had to refer to another repair place. I decided to just pick up the computer and deal with someone else. I was told I had to pay £80 for his time to diagnose the problem. This was never mentioned until this point. He refused to return my computer until I paid and even threatened my "if I ever see you somewhere on the street" etc. Basically he exhorted £80 from me to give me the phone and address of someone who may actually be able to fix my macbook. Oh and to get my macbook back. STAY AWAY from this guy.
