Avon Materials Supplies (AMS) have been supplying recycled aggregates to individuals, businesses and construction sites throughout Dorset, West Hampshire and Somerset for over 25 years.
What are recycled aggregates?
Recycled aggregate in the UK is defined as aggregate resulting from the processing of inorganic material previously used in construction. To ensure the aggregate is inert, it is manufactured from material tested and characterised under European Waste Codes.
Recycling aggregates process
The recycled, Dorset aggregates AMS supply are produced to an extremely high standard using a specialist washing plant that is one of only 13 in the UK.
The aggregate washing plant is located at Canford Recycling Centre in Wimborne, Dorset and is currently producing over 75,000 tonnes of recycled aggregates per year.
