Thank you for making us so welcome yesterday. We popped in on the off chance with our friend Chris Frost. Chris had been stationed at Bardney in 1947, just after he came home from India following Independence Day. He served in the Royal Norfolks and was helping sort out the trucks that were on the airfield after the Second World War. Chris really enjoyed being shown around the control tower and having the various hangars and landmarks, that he had been telling us about, pointed out to him. Once again many, many thanks. You made an old man very happy.
