The staff of Carl Hogg & Susan Fields Funeral Service take this concept seriously – a funeral is a time to honour the life of the deceased and celebrate the heritage of their family. We strive to make each funeral a respectful, fulfilling experience that meets the unique needs of each family.
Family owned with over 25 years experience between our staff working for independent and corporate funeral services in the past, covering the Wigan and Leigh area, Carl Hogg & Susan Fields Funeral Service aims to provide comfort to families in a facility convenient to their home.
Carl began his career joining an independent family run funeral directors working with his Nan whilst studying at college. Carl then became full time in 2002 and enrolled for the diploma in funeral directing in which he passed in 2004.
Sue started her career as a funeral arranger in 2007 after the sudden death of her fiancé. Being put in a vulnerable situation of being left with a small child, and encouraged by the care and support she received during her own difficult time, she wanted to offer her help and support to others going through a similar situation.
