Traditionally enamelled baths will have gentle undulations in the surface of the enamel. This is in no way detracts from the quality or longevity of the bath and should be considered a feature of a traditionally enamelled cast iron bath tub, do not use harsh cleaning materials for cleaning the bath tub a gentle soap and wipe should be fine.
