- The hotel is situated in the heart of London Docklands, only a short distance from London City Airport (2 miles), Canary Wharf (3 miles) and Tower Bridge (5 miles). DIRECTION: The hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. We are also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country. From the M25 NORTH At Junction 27 follow the M11 towards London City. On the M11, exit at the Junction 4 onto the A406 (towards Ilford, Barking and Excel). Once you have past Ilford and Barking, you will arrive at a huge roundabout. Follow the A1020 in the direction of City Airport/ExCeL. Pass Gallions roundabout, the Docklands Campus and the Regatta Centre and from there on follow the signs to Custom House/Canning Town. This will take you to Victoria Dock Road and the hotel will be on your right hand side, opposite the ExCeL and the Docklands Line Railway. For Car Park turn right at the traffic lights then right again entry has red and white barrier. From the M25 SOUTH At Junction 30 take the A13 towards London City. Once you arrive at the huge roundabout take the A1020 in the direction of City Airport/ExCeL. As day turns to night, the soft lighting creates a warm ambience giving our guests a feeling of comfort combined with contemporary. The Silver Restaurant has the same feel and is reserved for those wanting to break for lunch or to dine following their meeting. The Silver Bar and Restaurant can be used separately or as part of the meeting rooms. MEETINGS: The Capstan Function Rooms consist of three adaptable rooms, all equipped with air-conditioning and adjustable lighting. The two larger rooms are fitted out with state-of-the-art audio and visual facilities including a built in LCD projector and dropdown screen, VHS, CD and DVD players. All of the rooms have natural daylight and are situated at street level with disabled access to all areas. If you require a larger space, the rooms can be combined (see table below) and will hold up to 350 people for a cocktail reception or a banquet suite for up to 250 people incorporating the Silver Bar and restaurant - ideal for weddings, special celebrations or conventions. The Hotel holds a license for civil ceremonies and offers a special wedding package. As you can see on the floor plan, the function rooms have their own toilet facilities and kitchen, which means that everything is close at hand.
