Samer Hamada is a distinguished consultant ophthalmologist and cornea surgeon performing eye surgeries at his practice, the Eye Clinic London. With nearly two decades' experience, Mr. Hamada is recognised as a leading expert in the field of cataract, refractive lens exchange (RLE) and corneal surgeries, and is frequently asked to lecture at international eye conferences. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries, RLE surgeries, cornea, and refractive surgeries using the latest technological advancements in Ophthalmology. He received his master's degree from Ulster University and completed fellowships in cataract, corneal and refractive surgery at various reputable international eye centres. His fellowship training included specialised training with corneal diseases in children at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for children in London. This training and subsequent surgical experience have earned him a reputation as one of the few surgeons in the world with the proper training and clinical skills needed to manage corneal diseases in children. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, the Royal college of Surgeons in Edinburgh, and sits on the council of the United Kingdom and Ireland society of cataract and refractive surgery. He is a pioneer in cornea and cataract surgeries, laser refractive procedures, and keratoconus management.
