Fleetwood Harbour Yacht Club was formed in 1991. It is an active club for both sailing and power boat owners and is based at Fleetwood Marina. The Marina is one of the largest on the North West coast and is an ideal base for exploring Morecambe Bay and further afield. The most popular destinations within a 12 hour sail are Whitehaven, Douglas (IOM) and Conwy. These ports are approxiamately 55 nm away and well worth a visit. It also incorporates the Berth Holders Association, this means that once a member of the club you can voice your opinions directly to ABP.
