At Funky Chunky Furniture we have one mission and that is to provide you with totally unique, rustic furniture, handmade here in the UK from chunky solid timber and delivered right to your door. We have an extensive range of furniture, including coffee tables and side tables for your living room, dining tables and benches for your dining room, bed frames and chests of drawers for your bedroom and a large selection of shelving and mantels for any room you like. And the best thing is, it is all made from chunky solid wood that will all last forever.
Our skilled craftsmen are professionally trained and know every product like the back of their hands. When an order is received into our workshop the passion is there to be seen. With careful attention to detail in every join, timber sanded to the perfect level of rustic and complete pride when a piece has been finished to our very own high standard. This level of commitment cannot be found in any cheap machine made products and we take great satisfaction in knowing we provide our customers with the best.
We use two kinds of timber in our workshop - pine and oak - both packed with stunning rustic features and characteristics which Mother Nature herself give them. We actually love these features so much that we use a supreme wax finish to enhance them even more, bringing out the beautiful wood grain and showcasing natural knots and cracks in all their glory. To make sure the wax is applied perfectly, we have our very own finishing technicians whose job is to make each piece of timber look as fantastic as possible.
We supply our furniture to all corners of the UK, as well as Germany, France, Belgium and The Netherlands, in a faster time than the industry standard. This means you won’t be waiting months to receive your orders and instead get more time to enjoy them.
