Company description
I am a fine artist and art tutor based in Sussex, England. I paint large oils on canvas – mostly of horses and animals. They are bold, bright and contemporary and they get attention wherever they go. I am not deep, mysterious, messed up, young, or ‘emerging’ as an artist. I simply love painting. I have ‘House’ moments (When House realises what the solution to his problem is?) almost daily whist watching the patterns birds make in flight or horses make as they prance or fish make as they swim and these then lead to trying to paint them. I am not always successful in painting the picture I made in my mind but this does not worry me as all my failed painting are painted over which all adds to the thickness and texture of my canvases. I believe good artists imbue their paintings with life. I won’t leave mine alone or show them until they have their own life. My buyers often tell me they suspect that the painting they have of mine moves about when they see it out of the corner of their eye. I say this is probably true...
