The holiday cottages at Glan Morfa Lodge can be found nestling in a sprawling 37 acre country park situated in the small, quiet village of Llangaffo in South West Anglesey. This corner of the island not only boasts a unique heritage but also is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This family run venture is primly situated for either fabulous coastal or forest walks, cycling tours, exciting water sports or just simply relaxing on award winning clean, safe beaches.
The country park comprises of agricultural land that borders onto marshland. Several paths lead through the park, which has been carefully restored to its natural beauty and habitat. Two new lakes form part of the marshland where numerous species of birds, animals and other wildlife can be seen.
We are also within a short distance of Newborough Forest, one of the very few places where Red Squirrels can still be found, and also adjacent to Newbourough Warren, where rare wild orchids can be found, including Marsh Helleborines, generally considered to be the most beautiful of wild orchids.
