Cottage Review: This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in! Karen and Tom were so attentive - being met on arrival, the roaring fire with tea things already set out (although I'm a coffee drinker I made an exception this once!) and the incredibly extensive welcome pack (yummy cake!)! The cottage was almost ridiculously clean - absolutely sparkling! We spent a lot of our time on the farm because though it was quiet- there was only Tom and Karen and 2 of their 'children' were around - they were always happy for us to join in on their activities. We went for loads of walks in this stunning part of the country, and loved coming back to the beautiful warm spacious cottage. I don't often write reviews, but this place is so special I would love others to appreciate it as much as we did.
Make up of party: As a family this was a great place to go as there was loads for the kids to do and see on the farm, with long trails and plently of animals. I guess it would also be good for more elderly couples as Tom had just put down a little track around one of the fields to make walking a little easier, and anyone who would like a little retreat in the countryside.
