Lewes Decorators has over three decades of experience in supplying commercial, domestic and specialist painter and decorator services to Lewes, Sussex and the surrounding areas. We are are professional painters and decorators who are each as dedicated to a polished, perfect finish as the last. We are bound by a common sense of pride in our work and a desire to deliver work to the highest professional standards.

We believe that painting services should deliver a perfect balance of high standards of work coupled with customer satisfaction for us, anything less than great finish and an absolutely satisfied customer simply is not good enough. We are committed to the highest quality of commercial, domestic and residential painting and we achieve this through constantly striving to perfect the optimum balance between modern tools and materials, and complete professionalism.
Meet the Founder
Lewes Decorators was founded in 2015 by director Jon Spong, who had many years experience working in the building industry and with painters in Lewes and the surrounding areas. Beginning as a carpenter, Jon soon realised that his thirst to gain more knowledge and skills then led him into bathroom and kitchen fitting and then finally onto the art of finishing. His love of being able to deliver a completed project meant that his skillset then had to encompass painting and decoration. It was a perfect trade for him and he and his team have been enjoying delivering high quality paint finishes and restoration ever since.
After working for several other building and painting and decorating companies, I realised there was a gap in the market for painters and decorators in Lewes and Brighton who provide a professional and cost-effective service, while keeping the customer as the core of our business.
As director, I take pride in making sure that the company runs according to these standards. We know how much pride our customers take in their homes and workplaces, so we always put the highest standards of painting first and foremost. We have worked very hard to cement our reputation as a team who deliver work of the highest quality and we strive to maintain that reputation on every job.
