Tai Chi is a way to develop balanced health for the body and the mind. It develops:
• Improved overall health
• Calmness and focus of mind
• Increased energy
• Suppleness, strength, co-ordination, balance and agility
Qi Gong is a type of health exercise based on repetitions of precise sets of movements, specifically designed to benefit health on many different levels. The aim of Qi Gong is to promote the movement of Qi (energy) in the body by opening certain gates and stretching and twisting energy channels. A key point in Qi Gong practice is relaxation and deep breathing, both of which are prerequisites to allow Qi to flow. Benefits include increased general health and well-being and reduced levels of stress.
