Nunsmeres Crystal Restaurant is open to non-residents and has twice been voted County Restaurant of the Year by the Good Food Guide. The Captains Bar is named after the original owner of Nunsmere Hall, Sir Aubrey Brocklebank, and the decor reflects his maritime past. The bar has been stocked with drinks sourced from the finest producers based all over the world. Here, for example, you can sample superb drinks such as a French biere blonde fermented with Champagne yeast, Hendricks handcrafted gin served with sliced cucumber, an exceptional vodka from Kazakhstan, and Irelands most exclusive whiskey. This passion for quality extends even to the choice of tea or coffee available. We have created our own blends and also offer rare varieties such as Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and Chinese Rose Petal and First Flush Darjeeling teas.
