By Car (from junction 8 or 9 of the M40 motorway): - Follow the A40 towards Cheltenham. - Approximately 12 miles (20 km) after Oxford, leave the A40, following the signs for Carterton and Minster Lovell. - Turn right towards Minster Lovell and at the T-junction with the White Hart, turn right. - Then take the second left, following the brown signs to the Mill and Old Swan. Just 90 minutes from both London and Birmingham, the Mill and Old Swan makes a great base from which to explore the North Cotswolds and the beautiful and historic city of Oxford. Oxford is just 15 miles (24 km) away and the traditional, picturesque Cotswold villages of Burford, Woodstock, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway are also within easy reach.
