Opus Energy was founded in 2002, and since then it has established itself as a leading supplier of energy to businesses in the UK. Opus Energy provides over 200,000 sites with gas and electricity at competitive price; offering great customer service and precise billing through a number of contract options.
Some of Opus Energy’s customers are large businesses such as Virgin Media, Stagecoach and Pizza Hut, but the majority of its customers are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through their supply agreement with GDF SUEZ, Opus Energy offers its customers a reliable source of power at competitive prices. Its smaller customers can take advantage of its fixed-price deals – the Fixed product – to guard against price fluctuations in the energy market, while larger multi-site businesses are given the flexibility of access to the wholesale energy market through the Opus Evolution product.
All customers are given the option to take advantage of free smart meters, an online account service and specialised B2B billing. Opus Energy is constantly looking for cleaner, renewable energy to minimise its and its customers’ carbon footprint. This includes buying larger percentages of its power from renewable generators.
