Pam's Driving School has been established in Southampton since 1983, teaching and helping people Pass their Test.
It is in the interest of the driving school that you Pass your test and we make every effort for you to reach your goal. We have very Patient and reliable Instructors covering most of Southampton on both sides of the Itchen including Shirley, Totton, Hythe, Nursling, Bitterne Woolston, Hamble, and Netley.
Our Qualified Instructors have all been Graded by The Driving Standards Agency and each has an excellent track record of getting pupils on the road.
We can also help you with your Theory Test and Hazard Perception test, which must be passed before you can take your Practical Test.
Our Male and Female team of qualified driving instructors have had to pass stringent exams to enable them to teach pupils how to drive.
This allows them to have a Green Badge on display in their car.
They are professionals and abide by 'The Rule of Conduct'

- PASS PLUS
- When you Pass, which must be a wonderful feeing, you should consider taking Pass Plus, so that you can have a taste of the Motorway and what to expect. Also this can help with your insurance quote.
This should be 6 hours, price negotiable, The instructors are owner drivers on franchise to Pam, so this is in their hands, The Pass Rate for these Instructors is at least 85% After, you have a certificate to prove you have Pass Plus.
- CRASH COURSES
- These are very popular and we do them over two to four weeks. It consists of twenty hours and the theory and practical tests. Pupilsfind it is a very good way to learn to drive, as the lessons are consistant, the pupil retains the information better. We always tell pupils that they actually learn to drive. It is not always easy to reach Test standard, but the driving instructor discusses progress after ten lessons and through out the course.
It is in the interest of the school for the Pupil to Pass, so everying is fair. If the pupil actually learns to drive in two/four weeks, this is a great achievement. All manouvers etc, required for the Test are covered.
