I am Sharon Star, a qualified and experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist. Working from my private therapy room in Appledore, North Devon, since 2007, I have gained a wealth of experience in using hypnotherapy to work with various issues and conditions.
I trained with the prestigious London College of Hypnosis, obtaining a Certificate; Diploma; and Post Graduate, Practitioner Diploma and gaining in-depth awareness and knowledge of the implications and structure of psychotherapies, and hypnotherapy. I work in a very gentle and respectful way, and along with my hypnotherapy knowledge and experience I use a wealth of other skills, techniques and life experience to help people achieve fast and long lasting change.
In my sessions, in my North Devon Hypnotherapy Clinic, I combine Clinical Hypnotherapy with techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR and Quantum Healing. I am also trained in the Metamorphic Technique and the Hypno-band Weight Loss System, which has been featured on Channel 4’s, Embarrassing Bodies.
I am a North Devon based Hypnotherapist and have clients travel to me from various parts of the country, based on recommendations. I offer a reduced-rate double session for anyone that requires it. This can be particularly useful if you are travelling a distance to see me. I am very keen to ensure that as many people as possible are able to enjoy the benefits of the hypnotherapy that I offer so I have purposely kept my session prices at an affordable rate.
I am a resident hypnotherapist at ‘NuBeginnings’ weightloss, boutique boot camp, which has featured in a wide variety of national newspapers and magazines. At NuBeginnings I help people from all over the world achieve the success that is important to them.
Client confidentiality is of great importance and is assured at all times.
I am registered with the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis [BSCH] and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council [CNHC]. I also hold Enhanced Disclosure Certification from the Criminal Records Bureau [CRB].
