Dr Shaukat works as a Consultant Cardiologist in Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland. He trained in West of Scotland extensively in all general aspects of cardiology. His sub specialist interest is coronary disease management and Intervention. He provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Royal Infirmary dealing with problems like coronary disease, arrythmias, heart failure and valve disorders. He carries out Coronary Intervention at Golden Jubilee National Hospital. Dr Shaukat performs wide range of coronary intervention procedures including complex procedures like High speed rotational atherectomy (HSRA). He participates in the Primary Angioplasty out of hours service for acute heart attacks at the Jubilee Hospital.
