For the CBT he does not teach life savers or counter steering, which trust me are essential parts of riding. If I didn't already have a car licence and have practice on the road and observation I would have died many times over changing lanes, at roundabouts and I would have run a fair few cyclists off the road as they are often in your blind spots. Not only this but as opposed to the mandatory time (I think is two hours) on the road, we rode half a mile down the road, had a coffee and rode back, taking less than fifteen minutes riding time.
If you want to learn to ride a bike safely and actually be taught not learn on your own on the roads DO NOT book with this man.
I knew the training was bad but until I did my DAS (full licence) I did not realise exactly how horrifically dangerous it was me being on the roads without proper pointers and training.
Saying that he did give me two pieces of useful info, keeping gloves in your helmet makes it smell and don't leave the helmet on the bike as it will likely get blown off (hence the one star he earned in this review).
