SMF are a sheet metal, welding and fabrication company based in the East Midlands. England.
We have worked in the sheet metal sector for 25 years, serving the street lighting, switchgear, materials handling, plant hire and telecoms industries, we are well positioned to supply your requirements promptly and at a competitive price.
We offer a wide range of services, from punched flat plates and guards to component supply for your production. Supply of fine limit sheet metalwork and medium size fabrications including welding and assembly using our in-house facilities for small to medium batch production. We can also refurbish and re-panel your plant machinery and equipment.
Our on-site capabilities include CNC punching, working directly from your .dwg or .dxf files with our integrated software with a capacity of 2.5m x 1.25m and thickness of 6mm in mild steel and 2mm in stainless. We also have 3m & 2.5m CNC press brakes, a 6mm guillotine, a horizontal Digi bend press for the heaviest of brackets, sheet rolling, section bending, tube manipulation, drilling and welding of all types of metals to name but a few.
We also offer wet spraying, powder coating and zinc plating plus laser cutting and machining facilities together with import options for medium to large volumes where lead times can be planned in advance.
