Dr.Tamar Posner is an experienced Psychotherapist in London offering short and long-term psychotherapy at her consulting rooms in Queen’s Park, North West London and at her home address in Marylebone, Central London. She work with adults, including psychotherapy trainees, individually and in groups.
She works with issues including:- fear, anxiety and the depression that is often associated with these feelings
- relationship difficulties whether with friends, family or at work
- panic attacks
- suicidal ideation and self-har - eating disorders & addictions
- Asperger Syndrome and other Autistic Spectrum disorders
Her Specialisations:
She have a particular interest in life’s transitions, in coming to terms with changed circumstances such as:
- bereavement
- the forming or dissolution of relationships
- changed or lost employment
-‘empty nest syndrome’ – the perfectly natural feelings of grief and loneliness parents or guardians may experience when their children first leave home.
She is specialise in working with older people and am founder and facilitator of Silver Circle a therapeutic support group for those who imay be particularly affected by increasing mental or physical frailty, reduced mobility and social isolation.
