RESTAURANTS Memories Restaurant : With a wonderful vista across Regent Street and All Souls Church, Memories is reminiscent of the far-flung corners of the former British empire. Situated in one corner of the Langham Hotel in London, wooden blinds filter sunlight through an apse of windows and ceiling fans whirr below a hand-painted Victorian-image ceiling. One of the most beautiful London hotel restaurants, Memories is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Palm Court : Relaxed and delightfully elegant, The Palm Court is the kind of place that makes you want to linger. A calm oasis just off Regent Street, the restaurant is ideal for a break from retail therapy, and a great venue for "ladies who lunch". The Palm Court has been renovated to appear exactly as it was the first day it opened, complete with architrave and skirting details. Originally open to the skies, the glass canopy has a sophisticated lighting system. An establishment filled with character and charisma, this is a great choice for intimate private functions. The Palm Court is open for breakfast, lunch and tea. MEETINGS & EVENTS The Grand Ballroom : The opulent Grand Ballroom is the jewel in The Langham’s crown, with its majestic renaissance pillars, shimmering chandeliers, and more lofty elegance. The Portland Suite : An impressive room, capable of being divided into two or three separate rooms — Portland 1, Portland 2 and Portland 3, enabling capacities of 14 to 150 guests with different designs. Located in the heart of London’s West End, Langham Hotel, London is ideally situated near Regent’s Park. The Hote is only a short walk from the best of the capital’s shopping, right on Regent Street, Bond Street and Oxford Street. Theatreland is also very close, along with a wide array of museums, restaurants and other tourist attractions. You are only a few minutes from the City of London and other major commercial districts. Easily accessible by taxi or the Underground from any direction. TRANSPORTATION From London Heathrow : The Heathrow Express into Paddington Station takes 15 minutes. Train leaves every 15 minutes. From Paddington, 5 stops on the London Underground (10 minutes) and you’re at the Langham. Taxis cost around £60. A meet-and-greet chauffeur service can be organized by our Concierge Team for £70. From London Gatwick : The Gatwick Express takes 30 minutes. Train leaves every 15 minutes coming into Victoria Station. Five more minutes on the Underground, and you’re at the Langham. Taxis cost approximately £100. Our Concierge Team can organize a chauffeur meet-and-greet service for £130. Mainline Railway Stations : Euston Station - for the North of England, a 10-minute walk or less than 5 minutes in a London taxi Victoria Station - less than 10 minutes away; offers a gateway to the South West and Windsor Paddington Station – five stops on the London Underground; the west of England is your oyster. Kings Cross Station – three stops away for access to the North of England and the fast train to Edinburgh. Getting around London from the Langham could not be easier. Oxford Circus Underground station is a short walk away, and provides access to the entire city in mere minutes. The famous Red London Buses stop right outside the hotel, and offer a longer but more scenic route to your destination.
