We are totally independent surveyors and consultants specializing in the dampness of buildings,fungal timber decay and wood boring insect attack. We provide an analytical diagnosis and assessment of all damp related problems in residential and commercial property. Our service includes on site testing of brick and plaster samples in order to determine the exact cause of dampness. Many damp treatment companies employ salesmen masquerading as 'surveyors' whose only interest is often to sell chemical treatments whether they are required or not. A large percentage of damp problems are misdiagnosed resulting in the consumer paying thousands of pounds for work which is completely unnecessary. Our surveys start at £160.00 and include a full written report together with costings for any work that may be required.
Our principal surveyor Simon Hare is a member of The Chartered Institute of Building, The Institute of Wood Science, The Institute of Specialist Surveyors and Engineers and The Society of Expert Witnesses.
