Who is a marketer, you ask?
A marketer is a specialist who analyzes consumer markets and develops a strategy to promote products among customers. He summarizes the information received and decomposes it into the components of competent PR.

Based on the data, the marketer thinks through the moves to promote the company's products for which he works. Based on such a wide range of responsibilities, marketers were divided into two types: Analytical marketers (analysts). Their responsibilities include the routine work of gathering information and conducting its analysis. It is analysts who study all strategies of competitors and the dynamics of sales of their products after the start of active advertising. Then they summarize the data and provide conclusions to the creatives.

Creative marketers (creatives). After receiving the analytical data, they create a concept by which they will promote their products in the consumer market. This is not just a plan for one advertisement; it is a strategy of rebranding, popularization, etc. Marketer creates a new name and new principles for the brand being promoted. But it is important to clearly understand the difference between the advertising manager and the marketer. The latter offers a complete list of recommendations. On their basis, the manager and creates an advertising product.

The lowest link in the marketing chain is your starting position. This is a marketing assistant or trainee. In this position, usually take graduates of universities without work experience. You are engaged in the implementation of small orders and all the routine work. Thus, practical learning takes place. The next step is the position of a marketer or specialist. Your salary grows and you get your assistant. At this stage, you should be as creative as possible, constantly generating ideas. Thus, you create the foundation for further climbing the career ladder. The head of the marketing department is the first high-level career development for a marketer. You manage a staff of specialists and monitor their work, making comments and correcting if necessary. The head of the marketing department is not the limit. Many companies select financial directors and top managers from marketing specialists. After all, a high-level manager should have an analytical mindset and sociability. If you are committed to career growth, then you should definitely choose the profession of a marketer.
