I am a student doctor so when my TV broke down I sought a cheap place to fix my TV. I found this little shop near my old High school that I thought would do the job. Oh how wrong I was.
It has taken a month a 18 days and I still haven't got my TV back. They brought my TV back once during this period where I later noticed that there was a massive scratch in the plastic stand of the TV. They thoroughly denied this. The TV was also not working. They picked the TV up again and I haven't seen my TV since.
Here is what happened.
Wed 05/10/11 They picked my tv up
Mon 10/0/11 they brought my tv home (with a massive scratch on the plastic bit of the panel). TV wasn't working
Wed 12/10/11 they picked my tv up again
12/10/11-16/11/11 i rang up numerous times during this period and was told that they were waiting for parts and that they were trying to fix it and a load of other stories.
Weed 16/11/11 I rang up. this time they told me it'd be ready for 18/11. Nothing was delivered.
Sat 19/11/11 I rang up and they said they're waiting for parts to be fitted and would be delivered today
Mon 21/11/11 They said they're still waiting to fit the parts and would be delivered after 4pm. Nothing was delivered
Tue 22/11/11 they said parts will be fitted and delivered for definite today after 4pm. Rang them at 5pm and they said tv was on it's way. Nothing arrived.
Wed 23/11/11 asked why my tv wasn't delivered... apparently they got stuck in the football traffic. Was told it would be delivered today, and they would try delivering it before 3pm.
The reason I have such detailed account of events is because I was asked by the Citizen Advice Bureau to keep an account of everything.
Please email me if you want to ask me anything else. I am thoroughly disgusted by the service and hate to think that they think they can get away with it. I am going to be taking legal action against them.
This isn't the only website I've posted a review on. I don't want anyone else to experience such service.
