You will note in the above report the EGR value is the problem, yet if you look at the website or terms it clearly states this part will be cleaned. So if the engine is cleaned of all soot, debris, etc and this part wasn't found faulty during the process and has been cleaned, why did it fail after 2 miles.
The RAC also discovered that parts were missing, that would be checked on an MOT, so that car would fail unless replaced.
So thinking that Wells ried is a trust worthy company I contacted them to make good on their faulty repairs. The companies approach was to deny any accountability and ask me to raise with the workshop. The workshop has stopped responded to any of my communication’s, failed to provide warranty details.
It would seem that all Wells Reid are doing is taking £575 from you and given the work to third party garages. They don't provide any details of what garage they have giving your vehicle too or the option for you do do your own checks on the garage, before continuing with the work. All I got was various calls from the mechanic or wells informing me that an additional part is required.
So on that basis spending £575 on somebody doing an internet search seems misleading and something that the website doesn't explain to you.
So with £3700plus being spent I have a car just sitting on the driveway, doing nothing but being and ornament.
Currently reported them trading standards, advertising agency, motor association.
Be warned that any money given to this company is a waste
