In late october 2015 I asked DWT for a quote on a replacement boiler for my four bedroomed semi detatched house. I accepted the quote and on asking the engineer what boiler would suit my requirements, noting that my old boiler was a Baxi and I would prefer another Baxi.
The engineer advised that a Baxi Duotech 28 HE condensing Boiler would be sufficient for my needs. After the boiler was fitted I dismayed to find that the water did not heat up anywhere near as quickly as our old boiler did. Iremarked that our thermostatic shower was hot enough.
The engineer remarked that when we got our new shower fitted the following month it would be fine.
I then researched the boiler DWT had fitted and found That the boiler in question was studied by Which, and I quote. Only sufficient to supply a small flat or apartment.
On questioning DWT I was given various excuses apart from the problem I have highlighted in that the boiler supplied is not adequate for the job. I rang DWT and was rudely hung up on. Then my wife rang and arranged a boiler check with the said engineer who failed to turn up.
Thanks very much DWT for the substandard work and shocking customer service, contrary to the peace of mind and satisfaction you said you provided. Next time send an engineer not the apprentice.
