my husband and i had a long weekend just outside chester and on our way back home on sunday 4th december 2011 we came across the tallmache arms, utterly stunning. it was adorned with glorious christmas decorations, and the food was second to none, utterly fantastic. we had a beautiful sunday lunch and the chef dealt with my dietry needs of being dairy free wonderfully, i had my own dish of vegetables without any sauces or butter on them. i would like to say thank you for the wondeful surroundings and food, and the coffee was excellent too. we would definately stop here again for a meal, and probably even book in for a stay now that i have looked up on the internet. the restaurant was warm and the staff extremely friendly and it was most relaxing.
