I am an mobile phone engineer and I decide to test this company and see how honest they are. So I contact with them and wanted to sale my iPhone 5s (one of many non working ones I have). I have told them the phone is non working and not power up, totaly dead. So they offered me £56 for the phone I said that's great I will sent them the phone and see how they are going to operate.
They received my phone and give it to the engineer to check and test, they said because is non working will take more time to check (that's fair I know myself that take time to do so).
I receive email from them couple of days later saying that my phone is BER (beyond economical repair) and they offered me £20. I refuse the money because I knew the phone is not BER and I said to them that I want my phone back. So they offered me £25, I refuse, then £33 I refuse and I said that is ridiculous I know my phone is not BER and can be fixed. So I payed them to send it back and I replace the charging connector, earpiece and the home button and the phone is now fully working and will be sold for around £100.
This shows you how much they can lie and how far they can go without nobody doing nothing. It is scary how people can manipulate other people and make money from them. I hope this review go far to some authorities and someone take some action to change that.
